K series into a BB6?
I've searched and searched. And used google as well, however no luck. I know its been done, Ive seen people talk and post about it, however I can't find a build thread or any good pictures or video of it being done. Help me find some inspiration!
Not too sure about that. I've already got 3k+ in motor parts, tuning, and other things. I'm barely pushing 200. I'm tired of the H series transmission too. What's the average cost of a K swap anyways?

proble 12k. Have you heard "K series are for Kids with $." Its because their newer Acura motors, Acura is more expensive than honda. (I know honda makes acura so don't make any stupid comments) Its there Luxury motors.
k swaps have come dowm they arent far as expensive as they were. the expensive part is custom parts.id say wait for hasport to make a kit. buy hey if you wanna do it i say go ahead.
Be sure NOT to get the K20a3. 160hp,140tq. Used in 02-05 civic 3dr and RSX ls. Its anemic to say the least and a super sorry 5 speed. The K20a2 RSX type S, 06 and up civic Si Has more power and a 6 speed with decent gear ratios.
Ks are also in Civics, Accords, CR-Vs, and Elements. It's not just an Acura motor.
From hmotorsonline.com, the K20 from a DC5 Type R is $5300+shipping, and the Type S is $4000+shipping. The TSX K24A2 is $3800+shipping. All of these include 6 speed transmissions. From HASport, the 4th gen mounts are $550 and axles are $300. No idea if you can easily adapt them to a 5th gen
your looking at about 5 g's and that just for the swap parts. fabrication and wiring which is a bitch for these swaps will run you more. its not worth it for one extra gear. the motors are comparable in power.

Any time an RSX guy blows his engine or what ever they almost always elect to "upgrade" to a K24. removing a 2.2 liter engine and instaling a 2.0 is a waste. you guys gotta think big for your pigs..And many a TSX engine can be had for about 3k. Much cheaper than "S" or "R" engines.

I know a guy that made like 250 on a h22 without sleeving. The k-swap in the prelude is pointless. For the price of a k-swap you can have a turbo h22 making twice the hp of a k-swap.
