Recently my #1 Oil rings went on my piston. When i removed the #1 i decided to remove all 4 and upon closer examination all 4 oil rings were shot. So i went ahead and replaced all rings on all 4 pistons. Now my question is should i have a period of break in time on the motor i.e. 300 miles,500 miles or will the trip to Nopi next week be good enough? Also my third gear syncro is shot on my tranny does anyone know if the GM Syncro Mesh would maybe solve that problem?
