Are these optional rims?

Picked these up on my beater last year. I have no use for them and I was trying to figure out their origins. I can see "HONDA" below the paint and some numbers on the back.
The thing that is throwing me off is that the fact it does not appear that it has been repainted. It looks like it came from the factory this color. The center caps are black on the front and back. There is no type of overspray anywhere. The back of the rims are black.
Everything to me points to the fact these were an option, but I can not figure out exactly where they came from.
I saw some identical rims that were not painted.

Similar Prelude Rims.

Hmmm.. Ewww... lol... I would assume someone painted them. If I was to paint wheels i wouldnt just paint the front. I would paint the back too. Thats my .02

dude don't dis on the paint job. that **** was in style back in the day. and as an old skool Honda fan, I think those wheels kick ***! notice the pin stripe on both the inside and out? that woulda been hella tight back in the day. BTW, those pin stripes are faded pink. they used to be red
