you need to remove the pistons with rods and take the crank shaft to the machine shop and have them micropolish it if its still good. and if you're going to use the same spun rod then you may have to have them recondition them aswell. then its just a matter of assembly

Hondas are relatively simple motors, but in this case... if you have to ask, I'd recommend not rebuilding one.

You can get a Helms manual to get all the steps. However you NEED to get the clearances (bearings, rings, seals) perfect, as well as keep them cleaner than any clean you've ever known before. Dust will actually show as tiny craters on the soft bearings if you bolt the caps on w/o wiping them off a few times with a special lint-free cloth. You also need to get the torque specs on EACH BOLT perfect, not to mention torquing in the correct sequence.

Most people with good mechanical ability can get a stock motor rebuilt w/o issues, but a 500whp turbo motor requires an "artist". I've been rebuilding motors since I was 12, so I have a fair idea of what I'm talking about.

i didnt ask being completely clueless bro.. i am somewhat mechanically inclined.... and i never said i was gunna try and build a 500whp motor.. just said simply rebuild a b20 i know i have to get rod and main bearings.. probably thrust washers, the complete gasket set.. probably new rings since im there already.. probably wasnt gunna go with the same crank cause im not sure if it was damaged or not just probably gunna use this ls crank that i have here.. what i was wondering is the crank the only thing i need to take to the machine shop? and after that is it all just reassembly??
