thought some crazy chick was tailgating me all the way home today till we got to a red light and she waved to tell me i had no brake lights and almost hit me a few times o.O so all lights work dash, tail lights, tag, reverse but no brake light on either side nor the LED bar top center (Delsol) thinking my brake light switch went bad but all is connected?!!

Make sure your brake light switch is not stuck open, is your taillight working, and did she give you her phone #?

 

i had the same issue with my 98 civic hatch. my brake lights didn't work, i checked all my bulbs, wiring and fuses. brought it to my cousin's shop, he just unhooked the floor harness on the driver side kick panel and plugged it back in. i replaced my fuse for the brake light/horn so many times.

just try the unhooking and rehooking up the floor harness.

 

Sometimes the wires are bad. Mines kept going out on one side so I had to wiggle it and it works.

 

brake switch looks fine i unplugged it and re plugged it in. all other lights work

 

is there a difference between the switch for no cruise control and the switch with cruise control?
