trying to change the brake pads but when everythings off and im trying to C-clamp the brake moduler back in to put the new brakes in it doesnt go...i turned the e-brake off after i took the two bolts off the calipers...never had this problem was it that i took the ebrake off after that made it lock up and not let me push the moduler back in???let me know honda-tech guys...

 

if your doing the rears they screw in, also take the cap off the MC when your are trying to get them in

cap was off though...wat do you mean they screw in? sorri never changed one on a civic this is my first civic haha...wat tool would i use so i dont need the C-clamp?...thanks bro

 

When you compress them you need to spin them, like the bottle caps on pill bottle lol. I have always been lucky and been able to do it with pliers.

 

or there is a cheap little cube tool with different tabs that fits on the end of a rachet, or you can use pliers as stated above, there will be grooves in an X pattern on the piston on the rears
