Default rod bearings

Did the cardinal sin of priming my engine for pressure, and forgot to disconnect my coil and spark plug wires.. As soon as I realized, I stop immediately but my conscience was bothering me, I drained the oil and saw little gold flakes, so I dropped my pan to check the bearings.. Tell me what you think honda-tech...

I'd be more worried about not disconnecting fuel, rather than worrying about spark. What type of assembly lube did you use?

There's suppose to be "a very...very" small amount on a first start up..those look to me, ok.. others may disagree.

Obviously not the acl race as the pics reveal that flash coating, which the acl race bearings lack.
