So I've had my 350 hv install on my civic for a few years now and its been doing som strange ish lately. One thing is the alarm not disarming in the heat of the day sunroof open windows cracked so internal heat isn't the problem. Alarm won't disarm unless key fob is directly on top of the reciever on the windshield.chirp sound changes randomly(light chirp or gargled chirp or no chirp at all). any one know what my problem could be or know how to fix it or should I just get a new alarm?

 

Check the alarms ground. 94

 

grounds are good. it cant be because the ground is bad cuz it will chirp normal ill go into my apartment for something be inside for like 20 min mid day and come back out and try to get in and something from above happens

 

i install vipers and tomorrow at work ill look into it and let u know what can be causeing it

nope broke out the multimeter and there good to go

 

any one have any ideas im almost at the point were im gonna get a new brain and switch it out

 

Where is the alarm brains ground lead connected to, and how is it connected? 94

 

the ground lead is connected to the dash skeleton by way of a self taping screw
