Default fuel injection problems, prolly an easy fix lol

just bought a 88 hatch, only problem it has is that the motor isnt getting fuel, i checked the lines and i have pressure all the way to the injection system. and no its not a ignioton issue, i have spark, you can start the car by pouing fuel into the intake, so please any help on wht i might need to look at.

main fuel relay. they are a common failing point that leads to no start situations.

some people take them apart and resolder the internal connections, otherwise i would just replace it. it's located above the driverside kickpanel area.

actually now that i think about it. you said you had pressure at the lines. if the fuel relay was bad your fuel pump wouldn't kick on and you would not have fuel pressure at the lines. something is preventing the injectors from firing. one side of the injector goes to always on power, and the other runs back to the ecu. when the ecu provides a ground pulse, this is what triggers the injector to squirt fuel into the engine.
