Hey guys I'm looking at some new wheels and coilovers for my lude.. I'm gettin megan coilover, but my real question is could I fit 17x9 sportmax 962's on my prelude without rubbing? Would I need spacers? Please I need help!!! Bad!!!

Look for something smaller.

17x7.5 is about the biggest you're going to pull off without needing all sorts of mods.

However, you should buy wheels that fit the car, instead of trying to make the car fit the wheels.

 

I believe that mine right now are 17x8 but would 16x8 work better.. I was also thinking about participating in some autocross events as well... I new to the car scene so I'm trying to learn as much and as quick as I can.

alright ive been searching and i think im going to rock the sportmax 002 15x8 with a 195/50/15 tire hows that sound?

 

so...are you looking for wheels for auotx or just for looks? stretching 195 on a 8" isnt going give much grip and plus sportmax wheels are heavy.

195 on a 15x8 depending on offset will clear rear fenders but not too sure about front

i would like to try auto x... but im on a budget and the sportsmax were really cheap.. do you have other rims in mind? what tires would you run on 15's?

 

one of my fireballs has a real bad bend in it from the previous owner.. so i thought it would be a good idea to get something else for auto x

i have 19's Tsw on my 95 Lude

 

I had 17x8's on my 5th gen with Megan Lowering springs and I had to roll my fenders because they were rubbing ALOT.

 

Hmm... anymore sugestions guys???
