Default o2 sensor question for cel 43

so recently started getting code 43 and my car is starting to be really jerky when i'm cruising and sometims can't quiet catch the idle and runs real rough and then 5 minutes down the road it's like nothing was ever wrong ... so i've replaced FPR, dizzy cap, rotor, spark plugs and bought a o2 sensor but pulled the old one out i realized it has a wideband o2 sensor and since h22a is running from a hondata s200

I was wondering if it would be alright to replace a wideband sensor with a regular o2 sensor?

the guy i bought the car from said there was a whole in the dash from the previous owner he thinks that the guy had some kind of narrow band guage b/c there is a red wire tapped into one of the plug wires

can nobody tell me if i'll be alright with running a plain o2 sensor for a h22a instead of replacing with another wideband sensor since i already have the o2 sensor and having to spend another $70 or however much the wideband sensor cost?? that's all i'm asking please help my gas mileage has hit the dirt i've gone from 400 on a tank to a little over 200 so a simple truthful yes or no would be awesome before i go an rewire my plug to find out that it doesn't work and save myself pointless work and time under my car in super humid 100 degree weather

Thanks in advance guys
