I definitely wouldn't buy that car. If I were to consider it, I wouldn't pay more than $1800. He'll say no to that though. Let him part it out if he thinks he can get $3000 that way. I would keep looking, you can find a better hatch.

I would rather drive a stock, clean Civic than that POS, but it's your call, your $2K.

yes i have been comparing i found a stock clean sohc for 2800, another one b16 with exhaust needs body work for 2500 i found a shell that needs a bumper and a paint job for 800

He says it was done by professional body shop... does he have reciepts? I wouldn't pay more than 1800 for that car either. It looks like a tweakers special. HAHA. That car isn't worth what he wants.

No but seriously he's trying to sell a car, and on the same ad is cussing out some other forums for doggin' his ****. Doesn't seem like the brightest guy to me.... I think I'd keep lookin'...

I saw probably 6 - 8 cars before I bought mine over the course of 2 months. And I'm glad I did. I ended up giving 4500 for an f20b ek, but I LOVE IT!... So glad I didn't buy any of the other cars I saw at first. It seem to get better and better towards the last 3 I saw.

This.

Seriously, anyone who decides its a good idea to call out people talking smack using a craigslist ad is a bit on the questionable side.

I have to agree. If you're looking for a project car to keep in the garage, slowly work on on the weekends and such, trickle money into when you get paychecks, etc., this would be a good car. Though $3800 is ridiculous...but he does have a lot of work into it. I'd say mid 2's is a fair market price for this car..it's not clean by any means, but it does have some nice parts on it...for you could probably even part that thing out (ie. fuel injectors, fuel pump, rear seats, interior door panels, etc. and get more "normal" crap going on in that car, may be able to swing a bumper out of it as well. You do that, and you can make up a good chunk of the money you bought the car for. You sure as **** don't need that kind of fuel system on a stock LS, though I would run a regular LS ECU in there unless you load it up with Crome or Neptune or something to verify that the fuelmap/ignition table is good, god knows who tuned it, it has to be modified somewhat because of the injectors).

Though I wouldn't buy it for a daily driver, it seems to need too much work done to it.. That'll likely need to spend a few quality weeks in the garage getting all fixed up before it's 100% for the street. So if you have a reliable second car and wanna pick this up as a project car (hoping to make it a daily sometime in the near future), I'd say go for it, not for his price, though.

I wouldn't pay more than 1500 dollars. I always believe that buying a clean stock car is always better than buying something that has been modified by somebody else.
