95 Honda Civic Hatchback - Where to start?
Hello everyone,
I just purchased a 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback CX, and have no idea where I should start with modifications.
I was thinking of starting with body work (Minor kit, paint job, lights) and then moving on to an engine swap, but I'm not quite sure. There's too many options, and my mind keeps racing back and forth.
Let me know what your opinions are!

Imo make sure the car is in working order, then save for a swap before you put any money into aesthetics, gooooooo before show. =]
That car is an amazing starting point with such light weight it will fly with a type r/gsr swap (had a 94 cx with one). Definitely the most fun hatch I have owned. Like the the above guy said post some PICS.

start off with any damage to the car,
repair dents / scratches / touch up anything
clean out your interior, a good shampoo your seats n carpet
clean the dash thoroughly with chemicals
at the same time perform routine engine tune ups to establish a base point for maintenance:
change oil, trans oil, new air/fuel filter, new pcv valve,
clean sensors, replace o2 sensor if its bad
top off all fluids and check brake system
and if you have ac and live in a hot *** place, do maintenance to your a/c system

Thanks Linked.
Speaking of dashes, is there a way to remove the stock dash and have a custom made dash installed? If this seems far-fetched, don't hate. I don't know **** about modifications yet.

if you have black interior, and want to paint it, DONT
sell your black interior (because they are well sought after for eg/ek
then get a junkyard dash (grey) and do what you like to it, but people have painted the gauge bezel and the radio bezel

Okay, thanks again Linked.
Dekorum, as for cleaning your dash, I'd assume that any all-purpose cleaner would work. In my opinion, I would use Purple Power.
