Need Help with Rear
In about a week i going to put my sportline on, but i was looking at the DIY, the rear part look difficult. I use to own a EP3 and when we did suspension work it was the old fashion spring on strut. Do you guy have any pointer for the rear.
Thanks
Thanks
Uhhh springs only right? I don't think they're any diy on ht, I know thiers a couple on 8th. I honestly can't really remember what I unbolted, I think I just unbolted the toe adjustment bar from the knuckle if you will. Then I just pryed out the stock springs and replaced with s tech from tein. I didn't cut the bump stops, it was only a 1.5" drop in the rear so I thought it wasn't needed. Haven't had problems. Some people will say pull back the trunk carpet liner to access the spring from the top, that's extra work IMO I think you do that if you wanna cut the bump stops. Idk I just did mine in a rush.
unbolt the lower shock mounting bolt, the upper camber arm bolt, and sway bar endlink. might want to unbolt/move the brake hardline out of the way, but ive never have. you will probably need another person to push down on the rotor and another person pull the spring out.
