Default coming soon: JRSC ITR EF!!

Hey everyone,
I thought I would make a build thread since I finally have some time and funds to work on my car...

The car is a 90 EF with a complete color change and a wings west body kit (I did the car in college back in 05)

The goods on the car so far....
01 ITR swap
ACT clutch
Fidanza flywheel
Hasport hydro mounts
Full-race traction bar
No name coil overs
Kamikaze header w/ 2.5'' collector
Test pipe
Apexi WS2 exhaust
No name Intake w/ good filter
Precison 650's
Neptune RTP
JRSC
CRV crank pulley (should be about 9 psi)
GSR intake cam
Golden Eagle cam gears
Thats all I can think of right now...

Thinking about switching to E85...
The goal is 225-240 whp, less maintenance then a turbo and fun to drive!

So delete the thread I really don't care, I am going to take some pics later today.... If you look at my join date I have been around long enough to not get butt hurt cause my thread isn't intersting enough, I have nothing to prove I just thought I would share my efforts.

The 650's are for the JRSC and E85 since 550's would be close to maxed out once I get my LHT intercooler....

I agree on the suspension, It is next on the list. Plus wouldn't you count the traction bar in the suspension? LOL

im in for the ride but as stated, you need something to get the thread going rather then just some words and a promise....post some pics of the car, motor, JRSC or and other parts you might have so far. PS good luck with the BFH when making clearance for the Alt. pulley (ive been there) if you have any questions let me know.

There are some pics for you, As for the BFH once I get the intake off I am gonna mount the alt relocate bracket and mark out where the pulley indention needs to be and I think hold either a brass mallet or something else with a handle and swing the 16#er at that to try and make the beatings a little more precise.... if thats possible lol

Is there enough clearance between the S/C and alt to drop the driverside mount so you can change crank pulleys or do a timing belt once the JRSC is completely assembled?

someone at a car meet asked me last night why i still had the stock injectors on my b16 ef...my motors mildly built as well. no need for overkill with the fuel if its not needed. but he wouldnt know that since the dood drove a cobalt ss ha

I already said that I got 650's so I could run E85 which requires 30% more fuel and when I step up to my LHT intercooler with more boost 550's would be cutting it close.....

An airsaw and a cut off tool may be needed to help with the alt pulley clearance. I know with my jrsc sohc setup I had to make clearance for not only the pulley, but the belt as well. If I can dig up the photos I took during my build I'll post em up for ya. Good luck with the setup. I love superchargers myself. One small thing to consider that worked well for me, not to knock the full e85 fueled setup, but have you tried octane blending with 70/30 mix of 93 & e85? Works wonders for aggressive timing and tip in throttle detonation. It's what most consider poor mans race fuel. Just some food for thought.

Yeah thats the nitrous box without the line that runs to the intake and the JRSC kit I bought used, someone re drilled it for a gsr head..... For what I got the kit for I can replace it if it doesn't work right.

It's funny how some people have nothing better to do than bash someones car.
I like the Wings West kit, and it is the only kit that compliments the look of the car. Good luck on your project.

I will give you a very good piece of advise....get rid of those cheap reactive plug wires. They are very known for running problems....your car will be much better off with oem, ngk, or something like msd

Thanks at the time the car needed new front and rear bumper trim (those metal filler pieces) and the bumpers were all faded and what not...

Thanks my wife got them for me, I haven't had any problems but as soon as I do they will be the first thing I replace.

I made some progress tonight got the intake manifold off, the fuel filter bracket flipped, started beating the frame rail but I need a bigger hammer. What has everyone else done with the fuel line coming through the fire wall it looks like it will hit the tps?

lol wow ppl can be such idiots these days... but anyways the car looks pretty good if u like those bumpers keep em but most ppl on here will prolly bash u for having them... atleast you dont have some cheap *** body kit and u have a real name brand body kit... i guess lol... but im in for the progress and i see why u got the injectors but honestly idk if u need 650s or 550s for that you would prolly be just fine with dsm 450s but hey what do i know i have a stock Ls (B18a1) lmao... u can always reduce the duty cycle on the 650s anyways to suit your hp and making more hp will be easier
