will a distributor from a 92 civic cx work in a 92 civic si?????
i did this to my car a few days ago but now my car is not running the same as before ...i dont know if its because of the distributor or if its something else ... both distributors have the same part number on them ...my car runs but when i step on the gas it lags and takes a while to pick up speed ....whats wrong with my car???? any suggestions will be helpful thanks in advanced

it could be most likely the components of the distributor. Both distributors are the same.. since its meant for an SOHC motor. try changing the cap and rotor on the distributor you are using and change the spark plugs and the plug wires also. \That should solve your problem.

Are you sure that the CX and Si distributor are the same? I was having problems with my Si and the dealership told me the CX distributor that was in my car was the cuprit, that it was different.
