Im changing my tie rods right now. NEED QUICK HELP!
Alright so after fighting with the tiny amount of space Honda blessed us with to get a wrench on the inner tie rod nut on the drivers side, I finally got that one off. Now on the passengers side, it literally sits inside of a mount no matter where I have the the wheel turned to ( I plan on alignment to save those posts). There is no room for a wrench or so it seems.
Has anyone else doing this come across a trick or special tool perhaps?
Please help if you can, I'm in the middle of my in laws garage and need my car out by tonight ha ha! THANKS!

i used two of these medium sized wrenches and some wd40 on the outer and a flat head screw driver to pop off the lock washer on the inner...!!!
Alright so I'm back, I've actually tried both of those things. It sits like just right inside that mount to where I can't spin a wrench on it. Just kind of confused?? I'll get it, just not sure how yet. Thanks for the input though!
Dang, so why won't mine budge I wonder? Thats about all there is to it. The only thing I could be unclear on is he said something about unbending the washer? The other side just screwed out with a little muscle. Do I need to smack that washer or something. I really apreciate it. It's late. I want to be done with this ha ha!
you have to stick a flat head screwdriver between the lock washer and bend it back to a flat surface on both sides of it then you can use the wrenches above to undo the inner tie rod from the rack and pinion...its a pain in the nalgas to remove while the rack is still mounted but it can be done with time and patience.
#21 is the lock washer that you have to bend back to normal:

Alright so lame ending to this thread, but I got it to break loose. I put a heat lamp underneath of it, just seeing if it would help at all ha ha! Well it must have. After about 5 minutes it got warm to the touch and came loose right away. Thanks for the input! I really apreciate it! Without Honda Tech I would NOT have kept my little hatch through all the crap it put me through and now I love it ha ha!
