There's a local guy whose selling one red recaro seat for $300 or trade for ITR cams. It came out of a ek9 and he said it has a rail on it. Will it fit? Is this a good deal? How hard would it be to get another one? He said it has no rips or tears just dark stain from sitting in it and it could be cleaned of.

Edit: he dropped the price to $200. Is that cheap?

 

Thats all personal preference whether you do or dont. I'm not sure you'll be able to purchase another single one to complete the set... Unless you tracking you car and want to use the recaro as a passenger seat and is looking to buy a fixed bucket, thats what would make sense to me... but thats me, you do whatever you want.

 

I would buy it just to make it into an office chair.

I have one drivers recaro seat for track. Didn't want to buy 2 sense I would never use the passenger side.

 

If its in good shape that is a really good deal, I am looking for a single black recaro for my track car. The office chair idea would be awesome as well.

 

I would like just 1 red recaro seat. My driver seat is beat.

 

If you're gonna make a chair out of it, you might as well find a more comfortable and cheaper one. I'm told Tenzo-R makes a great selection of such seats

very fair price if it's in good condition. The CTR bracket only will fit 3 bolts outa the 4 to the floor. IMO one bright red recaro srd stands out too much. It looks super huge compared to the black usdm itr seats.

 

I believe the JDM Recaro's are heavier than stock seats(if you care about weight).

 

i dont like the idea of pairing up one recaro (especially a red one) with one stock seat. i agree with sheekdude. ive got a bride bucket for me, and a black recaro for my passenger.
