Default Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors?

I am looking into replacing my worn out brake rotors. I have found some online but they are drilled and slotted. It claims it can run reduce temperatures up to 200 degrees farhenheit. Any ideas? will these worn out the brakes faster? Ive also heard that these rotors tend to warp. Are these better then regular brake rotors?

For a daily drive just get regular blanks.
Drilled and slotted rotors have been known to break, ware pads pretty quick and wrap quickly.

Drilled and slotted rotors are great for autocross/road racing, but not ideal for daily driving as they do tend to warp and will wear your pads faster. If this is a daily, stick with standard rotors.

"Drilled and Slotted" have less surface area for the brake pads to contact as well.

They are good, but it all depends on how you use them. You probably wont need them for daily use unless you drive around like an idiot.

x4 on the brembo blanks & hawk pads. Its a good reliable daily driver setup thats a notch over stock. I'm glad I got rid of my drilled & slotted rotors.

cross drilled is for heat dissipation, slotted is so it is constantly cutting your pads to give you fresh pad at every stop. if they warp its cause they were not properly broken in. cross drilled and slotted need to be broken in by a long process that takes hours. you cant just throw them on and go(though most people do and that is why they warp).
if they break then the shop that cross drilled and slotted them did not do it correctly or the metal was not heat treated properly after machining.

as far as street use goes get the brembo blanks as everyone else has said. their is no need for them on the street.

i always run organic pads as they dont beat up the rotors as much, they wear faster but so what. they do create a lot of brake dust so you have to clean your wheels alot but agin so what..lol
hope this helps
