Default y4 head on a6 block?

Alright i know that this set up is strange but i am trying to put a d16y4 head (austrailian) on to my d16a6 block. Everything fits and the car runs, but this head is slightly shorter than the a6 head. This is where the problem is, because its shorter the a6 timing belt is too loose even when the tensioner is tightened all the way. To fix the problem i picked up a d15 1.5L timing belt and it worked initially but now the center of the belt is hitting the bottom of the motor mount(on the block). Is there a smaller timing belt than the d15 belt? or has anyone ran into this problem before?

I'd suggest using a die grinder or equivalent tool to remove some metal and get your clearance at the bottom of the mount. I beleive the 1.5 is the shortest belt around. You might be able to match up a belt that's a tooth shorter at your local parts store.
