White Smoke means coolant burning inside the combustion chamber. It can be multiple things such as a cracked head, blown headgasket, warp head or block, or cracked cylinder wall.

Also, look at your coolant resevoir for a milky chocolate shake look alike.

Have you noticed your coolant levels going down?

How much "smoke" are we talking (locomotive, tea kettle, hot cup of coffee)

In your coolant tank look for tiny black/brown dots floating and attached to the side, this is oil in trace amounts, another place to look is to pull the oil dip stick and hold it under a flame, if it pops and sputters ( like when water hits hot grease in a pan) there trace amounts of water in your oil.

Prescription - do compression test on all cylinders first, adjust fire accordingly and good luck
