Disconnected my brake booster vacuum from the booster and from the manifold. Now pedal is crazy hard and brakes barely work...how do I fix this? Also the vacuum on my boost gauage reads at -22 at idle, is this normal?

U removed? BB need that vacuum

 

Sorry I removed them both and then reconnected them. So they are all connected from the BB to the manifold, now the pedal is rock hard and the car barely stops. Is it possible air might have entered the sysytem and it needs to be bled?

 

the check valve is flow specific
