amazing...had the opportunity to swap my FBP with a fellers PY these past couple of days.
being used to the stealthness of the FBP it is incredible how much attention the PY attracts...scary really.

 

Seriously...That's why I didn't get a yellow.

Tickets, and the attention. Back then I didn't know about the theives though...

the only 2 cars i ever wanted in yellow:
1. porsche turbo (because it deserves it )
2. nsx (why not )

...but had to settle for a yellow 4 cylinder with a wing and a special numbered badge...lols.

 

its blinding, my car is freaking blinding traffic. The good thing is if people following me can't lose me. The bad news is cops following me can't lose me

i am sure your car's noise attracts ENOUGH attention.

 

the nice thing about yellow is that normally people are so busy looking at your car you can easily cut them off in la traffic that's a good thing

I love the attention from the stunnas, usually I can read their lips. The best thing was the other day I had my car on a flatbed, and I was in another car in front of the flat bed. I just watched people looking at the car, and could see them saying **** like "oh ****" and "type R" haha

The main reason I bought black was the stealh factor and the fact that I had just come out of CW, but what also helped me pick black was that the dealer where I bought my car had 3 PY cars that people had entered into a bidding war over. While my FBP sat lonely in a storage lot. They wanted $1500+ over sticker for a PY car and I got my car for just under sticker.

 

If you didn't get PY R because of theft, consider that a bitch move cause I notice an R in any color wingless or not, so why wouldn't a thief? But maybe he'll pass on it because it isn't mad fast yellow!

Yellow colour car always get more attention.....no matter it is a R or beetles

may be that's the reason why Taxi is yellow too

 

i only got to drive a yellow ITR for like an hour and I saw atleast 1/2 of the people on the roads were breaking their necks. i wouldn't like driving a car that gets that much attention, and thats why i love CW ITR's.

Yeah, I was so excited in late '99 when I found out the ITR was coming back. I had to have PY. I'm not into black car anyways...too hard to maintain and keep looking as good as off the showroom floor.

Everything was all good back then. Yeah I got attention, but then the negative attention kept coming and coming. Cops and stunnaz. I know the thieves and vandals are out there too...just waiting for us. Now in a lot of ways I regret getting the PY. It really sucks we ITR owners can't just enjoy our cars without having to be paranoid about them.
