Jumpy idle up and down 1000-2000 up and down tcs light stuck check light just came on rough jumpy motor shaking

 

im new here, my 92 accord duz the same thing after starting but then stops after about 5 mins, any ideas??

 

thisboyjulio-What have the code(s) told you. Also, what year/make/model/trans are we dealing with?

dunskii-is the CEL or any other code being set?

 

02 accord v6 2dr vac leak ?? Iacv?? Hoe to test for problems???

 

Pull the codes (local parts store-AZ or some place like that-I know how to jump my 95 and get them but yours would be differnt and I didn't look for a sticky or FAQ on how to do it for your model year) and we can go from there. I could name a 100 things and you'd spend BIG $'s and still be in the same place.

 

Mr. Thisboyjulio, There is a free service provide at local auto parts stores, Yesterday my check engine light went on, I went to my local Autozone and they pulled a P0740 code from my computer, it told me that my Transmission Control Circuit (TCC) was Malfunctioning and that my Torque Converter was not locking out.

So do that first, get a code, bring it back here and this group of experience will best assist you with your problem

As a word of advice, once they tell you the code and what part you need to have replaced, if you intend upon completing this task your self, is shop around at other stores for parts, most will price match for same parts if they are made by the same company. If you are to send your honda to the shop, call around and ask how much will it cost to replace ( insert part name) and get a price, dont always go with the cheapest, ask for references and look on line, anyone who has a beef with that shop will let some one know online.
