Question About Canadian SIR Prop Valve
I am a little confused about the prop valve from the Canadian 99-00 SIR that has ABS. US Si doesn't have ABS.
This is the picture of the valve

Any idea why it only has 4 fittings versus 6 fittings? Doesn't ABS use 6 fittings?
I'm doing a rear disc conversion on my Acura EL which has ABS.(ie. luxury Civic which is the same as the EX in the US and has the 15/16" master cylinder and 10.25" front discs)

What i'm saying is that ABS cars don't have a real prop valve. The splitter you have should look identical to the one currently on the EL, and considering they aren't really a proportioning valve it should function exactly the same as well.
I was told that the EL with ABS had 6 fittings, but I couldn't double check since my car was in the bodyshop. I was able to take a look today and take a picture. You are correct that it is 4 lines.
I did check the parts at the dealer and they were different part#s and that's why I'm thinking of changing it to the SIR one.
