Default Throttle Cable

So I have a 99 hatch with a B18C1 motor with the Skunk2 IM. I just bought the ITR throttle cable and cable stay for it as well. After installing the throttle cable, I looked into the throttle body and had my brother hold the gas pedal down to see if the TB opens all the way, which it didn't, it still had some more room to go. So I tightened it some more and it was better, but then it got to the point where it was too tight and the TB was opened at idle so am I doing something wrong here or should I just adjust the cable to where my idle would be around 900-1100 rpm and disregard the opening of the TB?

Default Re: Throttle Cable

The cable should have about 1/2" of slack. If the TPS voltage is ~4.5V at WOT, then you are good to go.
