Default Adjusting ride height PIC coilover

hey I installed my PIC performance APEX coilover and I was wondering how to adjust the height. there are three rings...two right under the spring and one below those two. Which one do I loosen and how do I lower it? I don't wanna mess up the whole preload thing so I decided to be safe and ask you guys lol. thanks

the lower ring is used to raise and lower the suspension. if you mess with the other two below the spring you mess around with the spring preload.

there are basically four nuts on the coilover
1- adjustment for the spring preload
2- jam for the nut for the spring preload
3- height adjustment (which is shaped like a suspension mount)
4- jam nut for the height adjustment

should be... twist the body left to lower it and right to raise it. Or you could just take it all out and do it. last time I tried to adjust mine it was a pain so I might just take out the rears since that' all that needs to be adjusted.

How does pre load affect suspension handling?

Are you sure you don't have the directions reversed? To lower the car you would want to shorten the shock, and to raise it you would want to lengthen it.

I'm talking about turning the body as in the threaded part..not that piece that mounts over the LCA.

By turning the threaded part to the left it would be like turning the other part to the right hence making it shorter..lowering the car

I don't know if I lowered them correctly then...I loosened the bottom most ring and then twisted the very top ring clockwise and it moved the whole shock body, I mean it's lower but I hope I didn't mess with any of the pre-load stuff LOL
