i took my hatch to the honda spealialist today because my motor has a pretty bad tick to it. the motor is fresh only has about 60k on it i thought my valves needed adjustment, the honda guy said the noise is comin from my injectors? can this be? and im guess i need new injectors?

 

injectors tick, it's normal. if the noise is coming from the valvetrain however then thats another issue altogether. could be your lost motion assemblies

 

so is it something i should worry about? its annoying as hell. would new injectors fix the problem?

 

honestly without hearing what you are hearind i can't tell you if its normal or if its serious valve noise. by saying it's annoying i assume you are able to hear it while sitting in the car. if that's the case then i highly doubt it's your injectors that are making the noise. they are not that loud.

oil pressure is fine and i can only hear it when im sittin still idling i had to honda specialist tell me its comin from the injectors! i didnt think there where that loud either

That's a JDM engine for you =D. Yes it's true that the engine only has 60K on it but it was never taking care of because in Japan they swap out engines so much for emissions that they really don't care about taking care of there OEM engine's.....
