Hello civic forum...I need a little help and haven't found an answer in any of my searches, I looked in the faqs and didn't seem to help me much. I am hoping someone here has experienced what I am going through right now. The car is a 94 hatch with a d16z6 with a oem p28. Here's the deal, it has been hitting fuel cut off at over 7200 rpms, roughly 7400. Now today I adjusted the loose throttle cable because it had a good bit of slack and from what I saw ...if you floored it, it was at maybe 95 percent throttle. So after adjusting the cable to be normal and not so much slack it now will open the TB all the way and is at 100 percent throttle. My results suck, now the engine is cutting off at 6800 or 7k. I have no check engine light and have no codes. I don't know what to do with it as I am a diehard prelude and H22 guru,but I have yet to ever experience this type of problem with an accord,prelude,or a civic hatch with an H22. So if anyone has some insight on this please let me know something and maybe give me some pointers on what to check. Like I said before, this is my first time ever dealing with a d series..so please don't burn me for asking such a retarted question...it is just bugging the hell out of me because I have only had the car for a day and a half.
