Default Engine breaking up

Well I drove my car today a little without beating on it. Well I went to leave where I was, so I started the car and let it warm up. Made a right onto the road and got on it in 1st. Now there was no issues here the car broke the tires loose and everything. Well my CEL is set as a shift light at 8800. My shift light came on, I shifted to 2nd, hit the gas again, and the car like cut out for a moment.

When I get on it in 1st I have no issues. Starting in 2nd everything seemed fine as well. It's only when I shift from 1st to 2nd it cuts out for a moment.

Anybody have any ideas..?

Well I can't bang 3rd, because then it grinds, but I did granny shift 3rd with no issues, and to hit 4th at 8800 is like 100mph lol

Yes

If I'm not mistaken it's the factory fuel pump from 1997. I never replaced it. The car pulls fine though it seems other than 1-2 shift, so I don't see how it could be the fuel pump.

Dan,

Your car just didn't want its TPS fixed.

Swing on by later on today and I'll take a look at it as long as I'm done tuning my big job today by then.

But srsly. I've never seen a car be so finicky after FIXING an issue. LOL

Well I just took the car out since I got off work. I had no issues at all when shifting from 1st to 2nd, so I have no idea what was going on yesterday.

I still may run the car over to IMW tonight.
