hey guys i was wondering if any of you have an idea or can point me in the right direction. okay so i have a honda civic 1995, and i my stereo turns on and everything but i cant hear a thing, no matter how loud i turn it up. BUT i do have two 12s and 2 amps in the back. could a fuse be out or anything? any ideas? it didnt pop when it went out it just had no sound.

1st check for loose connections, is it all speakers, or just some?
If it all speakers then you have deck issues

 

Have you even check the amps? is there any lights lit up?

 

i have checked all the connections and the amps dont light up, and there is nothing coming out of the speakers at all. i have turned it up all the way and nothing at all. im new to this kinda stuff because i havent ever had an amp or box before.

 

pop the deck out, there should be a wire coming from one of the amps, do the deck. If the wire is unhooked the amps wont turn on. Should be going to a white wire with blue stripe.

 

okay i will try that and see if that works... but what if the wire is hooked and everything looks fine... you think it could be a fuse in the amp??

 

it could be, check all fueses,
check them with mulit meter.
