Default Distributor King / Rich Porter Distributor question

I have a 99 si that has a Distributor King / Richporter TD84 distributor, OEM cap and rotor that I just purchased (for a tune-up) don't seem to fit and I have look/searched everywhere for replacements. Can anyone tell me what cap and rotor the TD84 takes?

Why did you get a TD84? The 99 Civic Si uses a TD-81U distributor.

Called them and emailed, nobody seemed to know. I even called the manufacture and they were unsure.

Will a 98 GSR cap and rotor work on the TD84 made by richporter?

That is what they recommend for my car, it works fine just would like to get a new cap and rotor for it.

I have a distributor king dizzy on my gsr TD84. A 94-01 b18b nonvtec cap will fit. I ran into the same problem bought a gsr cap and only 2 of the 3 bolts matched.

edit: just ran out to the garage and checked. I guarantee a b18b cap will work...I used a gsr rotor part number 30103-P73-003

Thanks for the info, really appreciate it!

So does this sound right to you?

1997-2001 Acura Integra GS-R

Distributor cap. Part # 30102-P72-006

Rotor part # 30103-P73-003

why not go your local autopart store and try the 94-97 gsr,97-01 and 99 civic si just to see which one fits and than if you fill like buying it from the dealer at least you know which one you need.

Bringing this back from the dead to hopefully get more clarification...

Seems that as long as you have the right cap and rotor on the correct distributor, both OEM and aftermarket replacement/wear pieces will fit a Rich Porter distributor that is for the particular car that the wear items are for?

i.e.- I am getting ready to purchase a TD68 for my 1995 OBD-1 GSR. If I get a new OEM Honda distributor cap, rotor, coil, or anything else I may need to replace in the future for a 1995 OBD-1 GSR, or the same parts from NAPA, Advance Auto, etc. for a 1995 OBD-1 GSR, everything is interchangeable, correct?
