Default walbro 255 alright on almost stock 90 accord?

quite positive my fuel pump is taking a crap on me and i've found a hell of a deal on a new walbro pump. as long as i still have my stock FPR, will this pump be okay?

You should be good to go.

It'll work off what it reads from the stock fuel map so it's not like it'll just perform better on its own.

that's kind of what i figured but i wanted to double check. i'm not doing it for an upgrade, i'd go with OEM if it wasn't so damn expensive. i just found a deal almost too good to not ****** up....

where are you getting it from. I bought one from
www.fuel pumps.com because they take paypal and are an authorized Walbro dealer. Be carefull of fake Walbro pumps

i'm getting it from a dude that realized it wasn't his fuel pump that was wrong lol it's still in the package. anything notably different about the fakes? (so that i can point out if it is or not)

Hey no problem. I don't blame you for snatching that up.

Just something else you can add to the list of upgraded features if you ever sell it.

As far as fake pumps go, its hard to tell. I found a you tube video showing the different sounds they make. But if its too good to be true it is.
