Do Usdm type r's come with the carbon fiber look alike interior pieces?and amber clock.I saw somebody selling these parts as "JDM ITR INTERIOR" parts and i want to know if they are actually jdm parts. My ITR came with them and I'm trying to figure out what is up.thanks

 

97-98 Rs did not and 00-01 Rs did. All USDM ITRs came with an amber clock. All JDM Rs came with the faux CF, however the clock was optional.

 

They come on all itr. USDM and JDM although the RHD ashtray/lighter, vent and shiftplate don't fit the USDM integras.

YES usdm did.

 

All USDM ITR's come with an amber clock.

'97-'98 USDM ITR came with CF look on only the cluster.
'00-'01 USDM ITR came with CF look for vents, console, and cluster.
The passenger vent was never CF on any USDM ITR.

'98 Spec JDM ITR came with CF look for vents, console, cluster, window switches, and amber clocks were available for all year JDM ITR's.

*Not sure about the '96 Spec ITR, but I'm sure the CF look was available for those years as well also unsure of the JDM ITR's passenger side vent.

 

didnt know this... and im suppose to know EVERYTHING about ITR's because i drive one... according to the ITR stereotype rules

 

I don't see why Honda decided to not add the CF look on the passenger vent, I think it's the same way on the JDM ITR, but I'm not sure, they did have everything else a little nicer then us, so I wouldn't be suprised.

 

yea it is kinda weird that they didnt just make it faux carbon... im curious to see if the JDM ones got it or not... im on the hunt...

I'm 99% sure the JDM ITR did not come with the CF passenger vent. I don't remember it being in my friends '98 Spec, and I don't feel like texting him right now and asking.

yea i google imaged some jdm itr dash boards and didnt see any that were CF. I should have known this. when i jdm converted my old 98 GS integra i bought the whole clip but threw the dash away because it was so beat!

 

I looked through some 96' and 97' JDM pics. I can see the carbon look on the drivers side, but can't make out any pictures of the passenger side. If the 98's don't have it, then I'd assume the 96's don't. I always though it was strange to leave out that one piece on the dash.

This is very true, because the USDM is Left hand drive and needs a shift plate that curves to the left.

The JDM shift plate curves towards the right, because it is for a right hand drive car.

You can not just turn it upside-=down, because it is not 2-sided.

 

No ITR (all markets) ever got a CF passenger vent.

USDM ITRs didnt have the CF window switches, but JDM ones CAN work.

its a tight fit, and no integras had passenger cf ventsl

 

its true. i have JDM CF switches in my R... along with all the other 01 CF crap, i didnt put it there. i found it like that...

 

all 96-01 itr's in japan came with all faux cf look. except pass. side vent. no r's did. honda never offered it. dont know why. i guess because the vent on the passenger side has a deep texture to it and its not smooth. as far as usdm r's. 97 r's only had faux cf cluster overlay. all else was black like rs,ls,gs,gsr's but clock and climate lights up amber. 98-00 usdm r's had the faux cf cluster,climate control cover. and only the 01 usdm r's came with everything the jdm r's have in faux cf including cluster,climate control cover,drivers a/c vent and shift boot console. only exception was the window switches. that was only offerd in japan.
