Default swapping engine. need to do the tranny too.

im looking into a project 94 civic hatch. engine has 216k so i would definately swap it. right now im looking at either a b16b or a b16a2. wut about the tranny. i would prefer auto. are there specific trannies that go with specific engines? how do i know wut tranny fits my engine

Search! D series transmissions go with D motors. B trans with B motors, H,K, and so forth. This is a very common question and a quick search would have answered it.

less control over the car. theres alot of reasons behind it. auto is basically just boring. and if your dropping a b16 in a eg hatch, you obviously want power. you wont enjoy the power without a manual transmission. i mean you dont want to rev the **** out of it but a stick just lets you use that power alot better.

ok if ur Goin B-series (Auto) u are goin to need 94-01 Acura Integra Ls Transmission

And find a way to get it to shift on its own.

This has been done a few times, however, i have never heard of one being able to shift on its own.
