so today i was throwing on the new header. i had a bunch of black gunk on the left side of the block so i figured the gasket was blown, and it was, but it appears the last bolt was broken. it was way too easy to spin off. and i broke the upper one on the same cylinder. but i pulled the bolt outta that one.

to the question. can i just buy 2 part 21 in this one and put it in both holes(i know it'll fit the one.)

or can i just use part 12 for the top one and still 21 for the other since its the right part.

its in a 95 del sol with jdm b16a SIRII.

i ask since in the second one its a hexbolt but on the actual block its just another stud like 21.

Yea if i was you I would just stick with 12 and 21. That way you know for sure that it is right, it seems like 21 would work for both though.

 

well the problem is when i was taking it off where there should be the 12 its the same as 21. like i have the studs on top and bottom.

so you think its be fine to just do a 12? since it looks the same just theres no threading for a nut its just the bolt head.

 

I would just do exactly what the diagram has. I am pretty sure that I have on hex bolt on mine and the the rest are the studs.
