Hey, tomorrow i'm painting my intake manifold, tranny, and head with this paint.

it says this is what the can looks like.



How the fudge am I gonna cure the paint when the transmission is off the car and I don't have a motor for it? Has anyone used this paint/have experience with heat paint curing and it's necessity....

The intake manifold, head and tranny will never and SHOULD NEVER reach 400º let alone 650º to properly cure that paint.

That stuff is meant for exhaust components.

well wtf am i gonna do then. i'm not taking the paint back, that's like a 20 minute drive.

how is the paint supposed to cure on the head/tranny/intake manifold by idling the car for 20 minutes and going for a drive? it says this about "on the car curing"
wtf would you do?

my best bet as of yet is heatgun for 20 minutes on highest temp. if the heatgun will light grass on fire, it will cure paint. even if the paint wants 650 degrees.
