Wicked Tuning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost control and span out on the I10 on Friday doing 80 mph and did Three 360° . I had Wicked Tuning Rear Toe Bar that the bar broke from the ball joint. Does anyone know the best way to handle these type of matter with getting some compensation from WICKED TUNING. thanks

Also did the search on wicked tuning non was found for prelude.

You are soley responsible for any aftermarket product that is not OEM, and it is put on your car.
That part is for off road use only. You will probably find that in the fine print of your warranty card or whatever documentation that wicked tuning provides.

If you've had it for a month or so I would say go ahead and do something about it, but if you've had that on for a little while I wouldn't even bother. You wont get comp'd for anything. I also didn't see anything on their site that they offer a rear toe bar for a prelude, or even a rear toe bar for any car. Post up the site where you got it from, I'll do a little research but the outcome doesn't look good. Sorry that happend though, at least your in one piece

lol, im wearing my Wicked pit crew shirt today, how funny.
all you need is an end piece. any race shop should hvae one, unscrew that broken one and spin on a new end. problem solved right?

i bet he wants to complain just for the principle of it. it very well could have happened on a track, and he could have been hurt...badly. all these companies may have that as a disclaimer; even cold air intakes are "Intended for Off Road Use Only".
thanks for the comments on this issue. i hope this never happens to anybody this was very serious thing that could ever happen and I'm lucky didn't flip the car. As far as the end piece i can get another one, but main point is for people to know that it happened and it takes one time for something to happen for people to open there eyes and say " oh **** and it would've been total disaster. thanks for commenting
I've got a hot dog you can use for a new lower toe bar if you want, sell it to you for $120 it's straight from the japan :D

I have had many Wicked tuning suspension parts in my hands before, they all felt pretty damn strong to me. is it possible that the end could have been loose and the slack caused it to snap? Whats wrong with replacing the end piece? dont really matter what brand you use, the designs are the same, maybe different thread pitch or size..
I think it would be foolish to just trash it, or discard it because of what happened. not too mention that the OP could be leaving out part of the story.
you really think the part is trash?

Compensation??? For what? $35 for a new fender linear? You didnt wreck your car, you aren't in the hospital....count your blessings. Take them to court, the judge will tell you to stop modding your car and then order you to pay their court costs. Plus, we have no way of telling if you installed them incorrectly, if you hit something that broke it, or if you were "abusing" your car....like maybe you were acting a fool and it snapped as you spun around 3 times on interstate.
Best suggestion to you is sell your car, buy something stock and keep it that way. Otherwise it looks like you'll end up dead (either by acting dumb, installing parts incorrectly or buying cheap crap to start with).

I've been rocking some Megan ones (I know not the most popular brand) for a few years now with no problems but this thread does make me want to inspect them next time I pull my car in at work. Only time I've heard of this happening with the ones I'm using the person hit a really gnarly pot hole.
I would be happy that it wasn't that serious of an accident. And your not hurt. Also I would prefer a little part breaking instead of it bending or ripping up the frame of the car.
wow dude relax, he was simply sharing to the prelude community that a part malfunctioned and it could have caused him harm. Your instantly assuming its his fault that it broke. These things happen nothing is perfect. You would probably do the same if an aftermarket part on your car broke like that. Thanks for sharing OP glad to see your ok.
Yes, he is just sharing information....not asking how to sue and get cash money. Guess I read that incorrectly.
