searched. Inner tie rod replacement

I have come to the conclusion that the the thud noise my car is making on bumpy roads is my inner tie rod.I jacked the car up and I can move the wheel (as you could i you had a busted wheel bearring) but my wheel bearing isn't busted. Is there a special way to get these off?

bump..
i need answer for this too..well, tire shop won't do alignment until driver side inner tie rod is replace.."they" said the inner rod have too much movement..
need guide or diy write up so i can replace it myself..
