i bought a complete b16 swap for my 91hf. i got it from hondamotorsonline. i am so excited to put it in. by the end of the month it should be in. the thing is i bought it off someone who bought it from hondamotorsonline and the warrantee for start up no longer exists because its older then 3 months. the sensors are all good though. im just worried its not going to start. it looks great but you always have that worry. has anyone had a problem with them? if so what? and also the linkage that they provide is it ok for my car or do i have to get adjustable linkage or get mine cut? thanks

I got my motor from them and I have no complaints. My distributor went out but that was the only problem. I hear that the dizzy is a common item to go on these motors. You will need to buy a linkage or modify yours to fit unless the linkage you have is from an civic SiR.

 

how can i tell what it is from??? any ways?

 

i got mine, it showed low comp in one cyl (160) but i havent shecked it since i actually started it. he told me it would seal better after it ran for a bit. and my synchros are shot, but theres no way he can check that stuff. it started up on the first try for me, first swap ever too.
