hey i was wondering...b/c of insurance prices and me being a new driver, i was considering gettin a used teg, either ls or gs-r for around 6000-9000. But being that i woudl need to get a 4 door, r there any major differences between the 2 door and 4 door models...besides the fact that one has more doors? lol.
I mean, after gettin a 4 door, woudl i still be able to modify my engine and such? i was planning to get a turbo kit and maybe a new cat-back.

 

u can do everything to a 4-door as u can a 2 door. only difference is about a 100lb weight difference

 

yes... and after you put that turbo kit on... i dont think anyone will be laughin at your 4dr. modified 4dr integs are just as sweet.

Just wanted to make sure you know this, but people generally do alot of mods to their cars prior to the turbo kits. The basics, from my knowledge, would be a cat-back, intake, fuel pump, and injectors. I dont think you would want to run under pressure without those. And yes, same engines, so same mods. Good luck, and great idea! No one will be suspecting a 4dr to be tuned. You should keep it a sleeper.

talk to DB8GSR. his DB8 is turbo'd.

differences are 8 inches and 100 lbs.

 

be proud to get a 4 door, they arent as common and when you modify them people will be caught off gaurd. I love the look on SS's drivers faces and such when you give it to them by a car or so

the Back clip is different b/w a 4dr and a 2dr Integra. As for weight, about 100lbs. Other than that, its pretty much the Same.

 

yep, i agree on the availability of parts for the DB. the only caveat is that finding used exhaust parts may be a bit of a pain since everything after the cat may be of a different length compared to a DC. if u are buying new parts anyways, then it shouldn't be a concern cuz pricing will be the same.
