Hey everyone
Its that time of the year and i need to get a smog done on my 1993 civic jdm
d15b vtec turbo. I recently went to the smog shop where they said that my car will fail if i get it tested. So i have been very hesitant on paying for a smog just to get it failed. Then i got a number for the REF from the worker at the shop, he told me to say it wont pass and to see what I can do from there. He also told me about illegal smogs but I dont know if I want to risk someones smog license for my sake. If anyone has went through this process and knows what i should do, your advice will be appreciated.

 

Your car will not pass the smog period. I work for a state ref. Just get an illegal smog done there is no way around it. Or convert everthing to stock form

 

could you elaborate as to why art? i'm just curious

 

might be a dumb question but what exactly would i need to pass smog if i take off the turbo setup,
stock exhaust manifold, stock intake, is there any thing else i would need?
