Help!!
So I was backing out of the driveway and my car just stopped backing up and started making a whining sound. Forward gears still work just not reverse. I think it might have bottomed out and snagged something. Any ideas?? The car is a 95 Civic Coupe with a B16A auto.
sounds like a failing clutch. replace clutch and post back.
erm wait it's an auto. you're on your own. do autos even have clutches?
find the last person to drive it, and blame it on them

autos techincally have a clutch, clutch packs that is. if your forward gears work, unfortunately it is probably a ****ed transmission. id look at it as a blessing, ditch that ****ing auto trans!
Ya see thats my problem with it anyway. Whatever idiot swapped it mated a regular B16 auto trans to a B16A JDM motor...the wiring is different on them. I only have 2nd and 4th gear. But to the problem at hand...For some reason since it has started doing this it has went into reverse a couple of times which makes me think its not anything serious. I have no idea though. It has me stumped. I have 2 extra autos but I really dont want to waist my time putting them in and I wont have the money for the manual swap for a couple of months.
