should i get a short ram intake for my 1999 honda accord?
i need some advice about getting a short ram intake. i wanna know if its worth it and if its easy to change. i also would like to know how much hp it gains and torque. thanks
Honestly, you shouldn't even worry about the power. It felt like it opened up my 98 quite a bit, but it probably wouldn't show much at all on a dyno.
The real thrill is the sound a new intake makes on the F23... sounds amazing. Just get a cheap ebay pipe with a K&N filter and be done with it.

How much is a cheap ebay intake + K+N filter?
My entire AEM short ram cost $105 or so with their dry-flow filter which I still prefer to K+N's wet filter...
Anyway they are all right.. The intake doesn't do much for you until you do further mods but the sound is addictive.. I find myself taking it to redline everytime to hear the second stage of noise.. On my engine you get loud from about 4krpm-4.75k or so.. then it gets quieter until about 5.7k where it really sings up til redline...
Fun!
