I'd like to just share my expierence on here with my Brake upgrade.

I used Prelude Vtec Rotors, Acura Legend 2 Piston Calipers and Brackets and Hawk HP+ Pads. This was a Direct bolt up to my 96 ITR. There was nothing required to do except bolt it up.

 

I did the same with Spoon calipers, Prelude VTEC rotors, and Hawk HPS pads. It's another direct bolt-on.

 

The calipers look nice (reman?), where did you get them?

 

yes reman from a company called autoparts international.

I may be doing this my self soon. it sure beats redrilling the rotors my self.

Do you know if this will work on my 97 GSR?

 

not as easy like it worked on my car. you'd have to have the rotors redrilled to 4x100 and shave the caliper bracket i believe to fit your gsr

 

The hawk hps pads are for what vehicle?

 

Legend Calipers. if you cross reference them its the same as usdm itr brake pads

 

Wanted to this for a while Upgraded my Master Cylinder I know I have to machine the legend brackets just don't remember by how much. I have a 93 EG with GSR brakes all the way around. last I checked I think I was told .30

Its 92-96 Prelude rotors for the rear correct?

 

not sure, i did the rears with fastbrakes redrilled rotors. not sure what they used but next time i will upgrade the rears to a nice rotor and have them redrilled myself

 

Ok thanks for the info. I am a fellow 96 ITR owner and my brakes are almost shot so getting ready to freshen everything while I am at it.
