Im thinking of build up my b16a2.......

I was thinking of doing my b16 head Itr block Ctr pistons Itr cams Itr valve springs and retainers and OEM 3 layer head gasket

Would this be to high of compression ratio?? Do I have enough deck height?? Will I need new valves or can I Use the B16 ones?? Do I need gsr water pump and timing belt??

Thanks for the help Just want to research before spending

Sounds like you have a good start in what you wanna do, you already have the ITr block and components, or did you plan on finding some? gsr blocks might be a little easier to come across, and it's better (in my book) to have a "poor man's" type-r and save for other stuff than pay extra for the same block.

I'd inspect the valves, but strength-wise they should'nt need to be replaced unless they're warped along the stems or if they aren't seating right.

I also asked the question about the Itr stuff because used itr engine components are typically abused before you get it by whoever owned them before you, so the b16 springs could get the job done just as well reliability-wise, but if it is a high mileage head i WOULD replace the valve springs and retainers just to freshen it up.
--If you plan on getting a more aggressive cam in the long run like skunk cams then i would use skunk valve train components since they're made for the cams specs.

++If i'm not mistaken, the b16 and b18c water pumps both have 26 tooth (?) sprockets and are the same part number, same with the timing belt.++

Compression/deck height/OEM gasket should be fine, premium gas on an itr ecu or one that's tuned.

**Don't forget to replace all the necessary bearing and gaskets, and even the thrust washers if you remove the crank, and like the repair manuals say put everything back in the way it came out, which mean label/box EVERYTHING so you know which rod/cap/etc goes where it should.
