i just ordered one for my 2000 civic si cuz the speedo was going crazy and some times didnt work. my question is, is does it have to go in a certain way? or do u just put it in and put bolt on and clip the sensor???

 

just slide it in and bolt er down. doesn't have to go in any special way.

if you're still having issues with the speedo not reading correctly then it is most likely the cluster itself that is bad.

 

Get some Dieelectric <--sp grease in the clip. Overtime the female connectors get loose.
