a have a ej1 and i just recently changed the passanger side axle but the axle seems to be kind of bent. its inside good but when i took it for a drive it sometimes kind of cracks like if its not in all the way. i have my car really low may that be causing the problem or the axle no good. i bought it from some guy and it was in great conditions but when i just checked it doesnt look straight like it suppost to. they told me that i had to raise the motor like an inch using spacers to even it out but i dont know. any help. suggestions.

if it was bent out of shape you would have a really bad vibration when you get on the gas. that will happen weather you are stock or super low. if your last axle didnt make the noise your talking about then a new axle shouldn't.

the vibration is not as bad its only on 3rd gear. and when im running the car when i step on the gas and then let it go thats when it cracks. im going to take them off tonight and check them out.

 

can i use the axles of a 4 door civic on my coupe or are they different
