Default OBD2 motor into 1989-1991 civic/crx

Well, I'm glad this forum is so warm and welcoming to someone asking a legitimate question that my post was locked no more than 10 minutes after I posted it. I've been searching for a half hour or so and can't find what I need to know. I was gathering parts for a 94 hatch that I was building into a track car, but the project fell through and now I need to find a new shell. It's next to impossible to find a decent civic hatchback for a reasonable price, so I'm turning to the easy to coem across crx or civic hatchback EF. Once again, I tried to search but it did not come up with anything useful. What will I need to swap my jdm b18c (b18c5) into a crx? I'm looking for a dx or hf, but SI's are seeming more available right now, so I might end up with that. I understand that I will need mounts, and most likely some harnesses, but I would like more specific info before I go out and buy one of these cars. . .

you'll need a cable to hydo converter for the tranny place racing offers one. http://www.placeracing.com/ but it lookes like their site is down for now. or swap out all of it for a hydro setup from a teg or civic. and like ViZ said there are wiring kits for obd0 to obd2. most everyone recomend hasport mousts. i like mine so far. and http://www.hasport.com has some good info there as well. if you need a shell. check my sig

are you backwards or something? he cant use a hydro tranny unless he gets the special welded mount, but thats something that you must know what your doing to do. Your best bet is to get a cable transmission, ys1, y1.. b16 transmissions are similar to type R's.

Accually, place racing makes the kit so you can use a hydro tranny on a cable car. or you can get the set up (resevoir(sp?), lines and assembly from a hydro integra or civic). there are man people on this board that will tell you. because they themselves have done it.

edit: and btw j1's are identical to 98 jdm itr trannys in 1-3rd and only afew tenths longer in 4th and 5th.
