Ok i picked up this accord ex the other day, it has some problems, I figured I could search on here all day for the answers, or just post a thread and get some advice from some accord experts. Heres the problems I am dealing with.

Car always starts up first time, but after that it will start and then die instantly like its running out of gas. The only way to get it started again after that is to wait like 30 seconds and turn the key from the off posistion all the way to cranking it over, then it will start. I was thinking main relay, but last car I had that had a main relay problem I had to wait like 15 minutes to start.

Also the ABS, or im pretty sure its the ABS makes a weird noise, almost like a throbbing noise, that Ive never even heard on a car befoer, It makes that noise about every 10 seconds after startup, and then after about two minutes there is a click, the noise stops, and the ABS light comes on. I head the ABS moduele goes out in these a lot, could that be the problem?

Also the speedometer only works sometimes apparently, would that be the speed sensor or cluster? and if the speed sensor, would an H22 manual one work? I have a spare in my garage, the accord is an auto btw

got my VSS 4 years ago off ebay, $25 iirc. still working perfectly...beats $125 from dealer or $50 from most other places

 

im in the process of ordering one now, will an H22 manual speed sensor work in an automatic accord??

Also any feedback on the ABS problem??
